DELIVERY & RETURNS POLICY
All pieces are handmade by Soizig in her studio, therefore currently made to order only. Please allow between 1 – 4 weeks for delivery once your order has been placed. You will be contacted with an estimated delivery date once payment has been processed. Should you require an order more urgently, please get in touch at email@example.com before completion and we will advise an estimated date for delivery.
All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery which are tracked and received the next working day. All International orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed to Europe within 3-5 working days and worldwide within 5-7 working days. Customers are responsible for costs associated with duties, taxes or customs.
We hope that you will be delighted with your order. Please note each piece is handmade and will have unique markings from embossing and etching processes which all slightly differ from the next. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, you must return the item in the same condition in which you received it and in its original packaging together with receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return has been received and approved by us we will be be in touch with you to arrange your refund, minus the original postage fee. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further queries regarding your return.
In accordance with UK Health and Hygiene regulations, unfortunately we cannot accept the return of earrings. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note that postal costs for returned items are the customers’s responsibility. It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure that returned items reach us safely and that they do so in good condition. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service for this.
All of our pieces come in luxury, seamless boxes. Made and printed in small runs in Hameln, Germany by award winning independent company, Pica.
ETHICAL & SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
Soizig is committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing of materials and uses fairly mined or recycled precious metals wherever possible, and fairly mined gemstones only. We believe in independent businesses and progressive manufacturing, opting for traceability throughout our entire supply chain.
All our pieces are designed and made to last a lifetime. Every single piece is certified and hallmarked in Edinburgh, ensuring it is a Soizig Carey product and made from Silver or Gold. Gold plated pieces have two top surface layers of 24 carat gold which will inevitably fade over time. As with all jewellery, general wear and tear will occur over time depending on how the piece is worn and stored. Take care to protect your jewellery from impacts, scratching and contact with chemicals. We recommend not wearing whilst swimming or showering. If you would like to have your jewellery re-plated then we will be happy to arrange this for you for a small fee. Please get in touch for further information.
Please ensure you provide the correct ring size when you place an order. We are able to re size rings for a small fee however it is best to avoid. When submitting your order, please specify ring size in the notes section.
The most accurate fitting can be offered by a local jeweller who can provide a size by measuring your finger. Ensure your finger is at a normal body temperature- fingers can shrink or expand by up to half a size when cold or hot. Usually, your body temperature is more regulated later in the day.
If you are buying a gift, the best way to establish ring size is to borrow a ring of theirs (from the correct finger!) and accurately measure the inside diameter of the ring. Please reference the below guide for corresponding sizes.
